Red Wing Heritage / Want Show Laundry

Red Wing Heritage is a legacy footwear brand based in Minnesota but with worldwide appeal. In 2021, the brand partnered with social media superstars Want Show Laundry, an octogenarian couple in Taiwan that modeled abandoned garments from their laundromat on Instagram. The partnership focused on highlighting sustainable fashion, encouraging consumers to buy fewer, better items and to care for them so they can last for decades — much like a pair of Red Wing Heritage footwear.

As a part of the collaboration, Red Wing Heritage assembled a collection of forgotten samples from their design offices and put them up for auction. Proceeds went to the Want Show Redefine Project, the non-profit that unites Taiwan’s laundromats to create a central platform for selling long-forgotten items of clothing. Our team was responsible for creating a compelling catalog that would highlight this unique, once-in-a-lifetime collection and encourage Red Wing Heritage fans to purchase a piece of history.
